MY EXPERIENCE

Hello there!

I’m Travis Gadsby, the proud owner of Silverlake Photo Accessories

I like to think of myself as just a guy who’s really passionate about photography, but some folks might say I’ve been around the block a few times. Silverlake Photo is a company my wife and I began back in 2000. Silverlake has been supporting fellow photographers for 22 years now, and it’s been a fantastic ride. Every day, I’m grateful to be part of an industry that allows me to capture and share the beauty of our world.

I’ve had the honor of serving as the past president of the Professional Photographers of Idaho, which has allowed me to connect with some truly unique people in our field. Through my time in the industry, I’ve been fortunate enough to speak at the Imaging and WPPI conferences, as well as hundreds of photography workshops across the United States and Canada. To my surprise, my love for photography even landed me features in Rangefinder and Professional Photographer magazines! I still have to pinch myself sometimes to make sure it’s real.

Some of my proudest moments have been my three nominations for Grand Imaging Awards from Professional Photographers America. Although the recognition humbles me, what truly makes me happy is knowing that my work has impacted others.

While I’ve managed to earn the titles of Master Photographer and Certified Professional Photographer, I like to think that I’m still learning and growing every day. After all, there’s always something new to discover in the world of photography!
